Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to court records through the Kansas Open Records Act, Kansas Supreme Court Rule 22, Kansas Supreme Court Rule 106B, and courthouse record procedures. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The Phillips County Clerk of the District Court handles District Court case files, including civil, criminal, domestic, traffic, small claims, juvenile, probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters. The County Clerk handles county administrative records, and the Register of Deeds handles recorded land and related documents. The Sheriff's Office manages the jail roster and law-enforcement records, while Phillipsburg Municipal Court handles city-level tickets, fines, and warrants. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for those offices into one place.
